  The expedition is proposed for July. Applications are now open and forms can be downloaded from the expeditions page. These 14 days or so will be about working as a team, making a difference and contribution towards sustaining the projects, educating you about the issues facing those living in Africa and gaining real hands on experience so, on your return you can continue to make a change.

• Peter’s Story – The difference!

  Peter Watara is 10 years old and he lives with his grandmother in Kikobero village in East Uganda. He lost his mother to HIV/AIDS few years ago. • Youth Leadership 2013

  I think I have definitely grown as person, I can articulate myself in a way without feeling shy or intimidated by what others may think. I feel more confident to lead and be part of a team. I’ve had fun while doing the programme, ‘people give me jokes’ …. But I enjoyed meeting new people and learning how to embrace different leadership styles and how they can work for the greater.
